On Independence Day 2024, the Inter-Religious Dialogue cells of Our Lady of Lourdes, Orlem and St. Anthony's, Malwani parishes organized a panel discussion on “Spreading Harmony & Peaceful Co-existence.”
All the panelists expressed that Harmony & Peaceful Co-existence is a basic necessity for us, highlighting the complexities and challenges involved in achieving peace and harmony, while also emphasizing the importance of various elements such as communication, respect for diversity, equality, education, conflict resolution, community engagement, leadership, and cultural exchange.
It cannot be achieved without justice and in order to establish a society built on fraternity, justice, and peace, it is important for communities to overcome misconceptions about one another and work together.... Fr. Aniceto's example of “Mere Ghar Aakar To Dekho” is one that we should all follow.
